Our History

Nile Dialogue is directed by a team of committed staff and volunteers who have a proven track record of working within community. The team’s expertise is complemented by the input of Nile Dialogue Platform Board of Advisors, a distinguished group of people who between them represent a very wide range of expertise and experience.

Milestones: Here are some of the milestones in our organization's history:

2013: Nile Dialogue Platform was founded by a group of dedicated individuals who recognized the need for greater interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding in the Nile region.

2016: We held our first major event, bringing together young people from across the region to discuss ways to promote interfaith understanding and peace.

2015: We launched our first youth program, aimed at empowering young people to become agents of positive change in their communities.

2017: We expanded our reach, partnering with local and international organizations to broaden our impact and reach a broader audience.

2018: We launched a new initiative focused on promoting the role of religion in maintaining peace and harmony in communities.
